apertures

apertures

apertures uses the information in an observation definition file to calculate the expected locations, on each chip, of apertures. as well as their location on an 8-chip mosaic. Output is a file containing coordinate information and aperture type.


USAGEapertures -o observset -b binning
INPUT
observset.obsdef is the applicable observation definition file
binning is the binning of the CCD data
OUTPUTobservset.xy aperture data file

Each line of the output file has the following format:

X(mosaic)   Y(mosaic)   Object #     ObjectName   Chip      X(ccd)     Y(ccd)  Type
